UAB “Amber paper” implements the project “Implementation of sustainable investments by UAB “Amber paper” in Jonava district” 02-064-K-0029, financed under the progress measure 05-001-01-06-03 “Improving the competitive environment for attracting investments” of the activity “Attraction of foreign and local investors with a high potential for job creation in Akmenės r. municipality, Jonava r. municipality, and Mažeikiai r. municipality” of the Progress Measure 05-001-01-06-03 “Improving the Competitive Environment for Attracting Investments” of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, the Governor of the Republic of Lithuania, under the Development Programme for the period of 2022-2030 the impact of the “Attracting foreign and local investors with high job creation potential in Jonava municipality”.
The total value of the project is 5 511 406,35 EUR, the allocated funding is 4 338 138,08 EUR, financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The project implementation period is from 04-10-2024 to 30-09-2027.
The aim of the project is to install new and sustainable equipment, with the additional creation of jobs and training of staff.
During the implementation of the project, Amber Paper will invest in the installation of sustainable equipment in the company’s new factory in Jonava district, thus creating a modern, innovative and sustainable production base and sustainable jobs, providing the necessary skills. The opening of Amber Paper’s new plant in Jonava will be characterised by the introduction of sustainable equipment, the creation of new sustainable jobs and the training of employees, as well as an increase in the company’s production capacity. With this project, UAB Amber Paper will carry out all its production in 2 factories.
